More about Kuyichi

Kuyichi - WHEN YOU KNOW BETTER, YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER

Since 2001, Kuyichi Pure Goods is a Dutch denim brand that aims to make a positive impact on the fashion industry. After seeing the polluting cotton industry in Peru, Kuyichi began producing pure goods made from organic cotton .
The most commonly worn product made from cotton is denim, so they started making organic jeans.

Kuyichi selects its suppliers and sustainable materials with care.

Since 2016 they have taken a new course. At the core, Kuyichi is still the same, but they have added different values to their brand. All leather patches were replaced with Jacron patches made of washable paper and the denim became vegan. They are of the opinion that the future will be determined by slow fashion and not fast fashion, and have therefore decided not to produce a large seasonal collection. Instead, the majority of the collection consists of durable denim that is available season after season.

Their style-conscious jeans have a clean look with signature details like the hidden rivet on the back pocket and copper details.
Pure production, pure denim, pure goods.

To future-proof fashion, we need to change the relationship we have with our clothes. Kuyichi does this by focusing on quality and durability. The seasons don't dictate, there are no sales. Because they believe that in order to improve our relationship with clothing, we must value the goods at their true value.

They were the first denim brand to use Ecoverde sewing threads made from Coats recycled polyester. These recycled threads have exactly the same performance and durability as the traditional non-recycled threads. However, no new resources are required to produce the yarn. Coats, a global leader in sewing threads, is working to improve its own sustainability, and Ecoverde thread is one of the results of this effort.

They always strive to reduce the environmental impact of our products. That's why they use advanced dyeing techniques and innovations from suppliers. They use the cleanest dyes available (all aniline-free), including vegetable indigo dyes. Their suppliers also have good sewage treatment plants to purify the water after dyeing or washing. They are proud to work with suppliers who innovate and improve. Together they think about every step of the process.
