Why we rely on Kickbag®?

As a sustainable fashion start-up, we pay great attention to sustainability not only in the products, but also in all processes. Even if we try to avoid returns by providing as much product information as possible in text and images, this is still not always possible. That's why it became clear to us relatively quickly that we wanted to introduce an alternative to conventional cardboard packaging for the clothes that we ship from our own warehouse. The Kickbag quickly convinced us because it is easy to integrate into our processes, is often reusable and made from recycled material. It also looks very good visually, as this aspect is also important to us as an online shop for fair and stylish fashion.
What is the Kickbag®?
The Kickbag is a reusable, flexible bag made from recycled PET with a Velcro fastener. The robust, weatherproof and durable kickbag can be used instead of disposable packaging for shipping almost all products. The bag and shipping are climate-neutral (the kickbag's emissions are accounted for and 100% offset with climate protection projects), and mostly recycled raw materials are used for production.

Who is behind the Kickbag®
Kickbag GmbH was founded in July 2020. The main shareholding is held by Tobias Zingg, co-founder of the Swiss online concept store Stadtlandkind.ch, and Mariella Huber, co-founder of the online fabric retailer Stoff&so. Based on their many years of experience in e-commerce, they have looked for sustainable solutions and developed the Kickbag as an innovative, environmentally friendly alternative to disposable packaging.
The innovative pioneering project was created in collaboration with ClimatePartner, Swiss Post and MS Direct.
