ECOALF is an upcycling brand from Spain that has been around since 2009. The founder, Javier Goyeneche, believed that recycling could be a solution if we were able to produce a new generation of recycled products that had the same quality and design as the best non-recycled products. The Ecoalf jackets are very well known, which score highly in terms of quality and design and are all made from recycled PET. Ecoalf is also the founder of the Upcycling the Oceans initiative and has been B Corp certified since 2018. The B-CORP certificate certifies that the company meets the highest standard of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability in order to achieve a balance between profit and the purpose for which the company was founded.
