About the brand

Matona was born in 2016 from a simple idea: Katharina started sewing clothes for her son herself. The first individual pieces soon became small series, the small series turned into the first orders from shops, and a sewing table in Vorarlberg evolved into a fashion label, which is now run as a family business together with Katharina and David.
What began with children's clothing grew alongside their own family: the women's collection was born from the same consideration—creating clothing that supports different body shapes through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond. Today, ten years later, Matona reaches over 100 retailers in more than 30 countries, having grown based on the same principles with which it all began.
