About the brand

Matona began in 2016 with a simple idea: Katharina started sewing clothes for her son herself. The first individual pieces soon became small collections, those small collections turned into the first store orders, and a sewing table in Vorarlberg grew into a fashion label that is now run as a family business together with Katharina and David.
What started with children's clothing grew alongside their own family: the women's collection was born from the same consideration—creating clothing that supports different body shapes through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond. Today, ten years later, Matona reaches over 100 retailers in more than 30 countries, having grown from the very same principles with which it all began.
