About the brand

Matona was born in 2016 from a simple idea: Katharina started sewing clothes for her son. The first one-off pieces soon turned into small batches, those small batches into the first store orders, and a sewing table in Vorarlberg into a fashion label that is now run as a family business by Katharina and David.
What began with children's clothing grew along with their own family: the women's collection was born from the same consideration—clothing that accompanies different body shapes through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond. Today, ten years later, Matona reaches over 100 retailers in more than 30 countries, having grown from the very same principles with which it all began.
