Matona was born in 2016 from a simple idea: Katharina started sewing clothes for her son. The first unique pieces soon turned into small batches, those batches led to the first orders from shops, and a sewing table in Vorarlberg evolved into a fashion label that is now run as a family business together with Katharina and David.
What started with children's clothing grew alongside their own family: The women's collection was born from the same consideration—creating clothing that supports different body shapes through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond. Today, ten years later, Matona reaches over 100 retailers in more than 30 countries, having grown from the very same principles with which it all began.
