About the brand

Matona was born in 2016 from a simple idea: Katharina started sewing clothes for her son. The first unique pieces soon turned into small series, those series into the first wholesale orders, and a sewing table in Vorarlberg into a fashion label that is now run as a family business together with Katharina and David.
What began with children's clothing grew along with their own family: the women's collection emerged from the same concept—clothing that supports different body shapes through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond. Today, ten years later, Matona reaches over 100 retailers in more than 30 countries, having grown from the very same principles with which it all began.
