Matona was born in 2016 from a simple idea: Katharina started sewing clothes for her son herself. The first individual pieces soon turned into small series, the small series led to the first orders from shops, and a sewing table in Vorarlberg grew into a fashion label that is now run as a family business together with Katharina and David.
What began with children’s clothing grew along with their own family: the women’s collection was born from the same consideration for clothing that supports different body shapes through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond. Today, ten years later, Matona reaches over 100 retailers in more than 30 countries, having grown based on the same principles with which it all began.
