About the brand

Matona was born in 2016 from a simple idea: Katharina started sewing clothes for her son herself. The first individual pieces soon turned into small collections, those collections into the first orders from shops, and a sewing table in Vorarlberg into a fashion label that is now run as a family business by Katharina and David.
What started with children's clothing grew along with their own family: the women's collection was born from the same concept of clothing that supports different body shapes throughout pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond. Today, ten years later, Matona reaches over 100 retailers in more than 30 countries, having grown from the very same principles with which everything began.
